Following the departure of Mandy Klein Moss from the village we require a replacement councillor.
The council meet once a month, duties are rarely arduous but we are responsible for changes to the village which, may have an impact on its look, facilities available, safety and community activity.
Our role is critical in order to ensure such decisions are made locally, and that control is not lost to other groups who may not have our best interests at heart.

There is going to be a debate on the EU referendum in Sawston on Wednesday 8th June at 19:30 in the Free Church, chaired by Rev. Bruce Waldron. There will be a couple of representatives for both Remain and Leave (from various parties), with pre-set questions and the opportunity for the audience to also ask questions. We aim for the debate to finish around 21:00.
