Tour de France : Monday 7 July

There will be extensive road closures in this area on Monday 7 July. These will be in effect from 7 in the morning through to around 3 in the afternoon. The A505 will be severely affected as will Sawston bypass. All roads that cross or join the A1301 from Cambridge to Stumps Cross will be closed at their junction with the A1301.

Full details of the route the tour takes, the associated road closures, changes to public transport and car park information can be found here.

It is expected that many local schools, shops and businesses will be closed that day. However we should still expect a significant proportion of the normal Cambridge to Sawston traffic to route through Babraham. The route along Trumpington Road out of Cambridge, through Great Shelford and Stapleford to Sawston will be closed.
